The Magnacoustics MagnaAlarm provides a simple, reliable way for patients to alert MRI technologists during a scan. Designed for use outside the magnetic field, the MagnaAlarm unit connects to a hand squeeze bulb that is placed with the patient inside the scanner room. If the patient experiences discomfort, anxiety, or claustrophobia, a quick squeeze activates the alarm in the control room—immediately alerting the technologist to stop the scan and respond.
Built for safety and dependability, the MagnaAlarm is completely pneumatic on the patient side and requires no electrical or magnetic components in Zone IV.
